Interactive AudioVisual Installation
AV:FIELD_01
Interactive audiovisual installation with bird-like signals in a quadraphonic field, where physical triggers spark sound and light in real time across dual Full HD projection.
Calls across a field
AV:FIELD_01 is an interactive audiovisual installation that explores communication through distributed bird-like signals: physical interaction triggers synthesized sound and synchronized visual events, opening a real-time dialogue between movement, light, and spatial audio in a quadraphonic environment.

Territory as signal
Inspired by birds' territorial and communicative behavior, individual calls become both sonic and visual responses. Each interaction releases a distinct audiovisual event that expands through space: simple signals evolving into denser patterns of movement and perception. The work sits at the junction of sound localization, procedural animation, and human presence in the room.

Buttons, racks, and a dual canvas
Four physical buttons wired through an ESP32 (Arduino ecosystem) send triggers into TouchDesigner. Each trigger fires an independent modular synthesizer in VCV Rack inside Ableton Live (a unique bird-like voice), then pans across a quadraphonic speaker system. TouchDesigner mirrors the event as bird animations and reactive graphics on two blended Full HD projectors (3840 × 1080). One interaction drives sound, spatial movement, and visuals together, so the chain stays synchronized end to end.

An ecosystem you enter
Visitors actively shape an evolving audiovisual field. Every press yields a different mix of spatial sound and visual motion: isolated events knitting into a composition of rhythm, directionality, and where you stand in the room.
